What this page covers

These terms cover your use of nambobi.com. Work I do for you is governed by the written proposal and agreement for that piece of work, which takes precedence over anything here.

The content on this site

The text, images and code on this site are mine unless credited otherwise. The publications listed here belong to their publishers and are shown for reference, with links to the publisher’s own page. You may quote from or link to this site with attribution. Please do not copy it wholesale or present it as your own.

An enquiry is not a contract

Filling in a form or booking a call does not create an agreement and does not commit either of us to anything. Work begins when there is a written scope and we have both agreed it.

What I do and do not promise

Research help. I work alongside you on analysis, methods and reporting, and I explain every step so you can defend it. I do not write your thesis, sit your examinations, or guarantee that a paper will be accepted, that an examiner will pass you, or that a particular result will appear in your data. The decisions about your research stay yours.

Websites. Timelines, revisions and any guarantee are set out in the proposal for your project.

Training. What a workshop covers, and what each participant leaves with, is agreed in writing before it is booked.

Not professional advice

Nothing on this site is legal, financial or medical advice.

Your side

Send only data you have the right to share. Where your study involves people, obtain the ethical clearance and consent your institution requires before sending me anything.

Availability

I run this site myself. It may be unavailable at times, and nothing here is guaranteed to be available continuously.

Liability

So far as the law allows, I am not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this site. Liability for paid work is dealt with in the agreement for that work.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Uganda.
