Who runs this site

This website is nambobi.com, run by Nambobi Mutwalibi. If you have a question about anything on this page, write to hello@nambobi.com.

What I collect

When you fill in a form on this site, the free call form, the Learn form or the message form, I receive what you type: your name, your email address, on the booking form your WhatsApp number, and the message itself. Submissions are emailed to me and stored in this website’s own database.

When you write to me by email or WhatsApp I keep the message and your contact details, so that I can reply and so we both have a record of what was agreed.

Like every website, the server records ordinary technical information for each visit: the IP address, the browser, the pages requested and the time. This keeps the site running and secure. The security plugin also records failed login attempts, including the IP address they came from, to block attacks on the administrator account.

What I do not do

There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel and no tracking script on this site. I do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone for marketing, and filling in a form does not add you to a mailing list.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. WordPress and some of the plugins that run the site may set functional cookies, for example to keep a signed-in administrator signed in. You can block or delete cookies in your browser and the site will still work.

How long I keep it

I keep enquiries and project correspondence while the work is live and for a reasonable period afterwards, so that I can answer questions about work I did. Ask me to delete your details and I will, unless I am required to keep something.

Your rights

You can ask what I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to hello@nambobi.com. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the rights under the GDPR apply to you. In Uganda, the Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019 applies. I will answer either way.

Other people’s services

Links on this site to IEEE Xplore, Amazon, Google Scholar, ORCID, ResearchGate, Scopus, LinkedIn, X and TikTok take you to services I do not control, each with its own privacy policy. The site is hosted on a private server and backed up regularly.

Research participants

If you are taking part in a study I am working on, the information sheet and consent form for that study govern your data, not this page.

Changes

Last updated 26 September 2026. If this policy changes, the date changes with it.
