I studied technical education at the Islamic University of Technology in Bangladesh, and from 2018 to 2023 I lectured at the Labour College of East Africa, where I was Acting Head of Science and Technology and taught pre-departure orientation for migrant workers. Between 2020 and 2024 I worked with MILTA Uganda, IOM, ILO and the Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development on ICT support and the pre-departure curriculum.
My research covers ICT and green skills in teaching (a book, 2017), MOOCs and online learning in TVET, big data in TVET, and video conferencing in Ugandan universities.
